Lexington Boulevard Animal Hospital has a complete in-house laboratory. We routinely perform most lab tests in-house including chemistry profiles, urinalyses, cytologies (aspirations of cells from tumor masses with a needle biopsy), bone marrows, spinal taps and fluid analyses. Waiting for results of samples sent to outside laboratories delays critical diagnoses and treatment for your pet.
Dr. Seamans is a certified medical technologist. With her background and training, our hospital is able to insure the highest quality control standards.
If your animal has surgery, pre-surgical blood work can be performed on the same day, eliminating an extra trip to the hospital. However, by performing your pet's pre-surgical lab work prior to the day of surgery, significant discounts on costs can occur.
